Ramadhan Calendar 2025 UAE
Ramadhan is a special time of the year for Muslims all over the world for several reasons. This is the month during which the completion of the revelation of the Quran took place. This is also the month during which Muslims observe fasting which is among the main pillars of Islam.
The authentic Islamic scriptures tell us that during this month the reward for the good deeds is increased exponentially which is what urges the Muslims to be extra generous, caring and pious in Ramadan.
During this month, Muslims display greater empathy towards their fellow brethren by sharing their food and money with the less privileged. Ramadhan is also the time when Muslims pay Zakat, which is a compulsory charity that every Muslim who is eligible must pay.
Ramadhan will most likely begin on the evening of February 28 based on the crescent moon sighting. If the moon is sighted then March 1st will mark the first day of Ramadhan. Thus, Muslims in the UAE will start fasting from 1st March.
The month of Ramadhan will last till 29 or 30th March based on the moon sighting for Eid.
Following is the detailed Ramadhan calendar 2025 that you can follow in the UAE to keep track of your Iftar, Suhoor and other prayer times. The calendar gives you Imsak and Fajar times separately.
Imsak refers to the end of the suhoor time and the start of the Fajar. Some Muslim sects consider the Fajar time as the Suhoor ending time. However, there are some schools of thought that consider the Imsak as the time when their Fast starts. Imsak is usually ten minutes before Fajar and it is done as a precaution to ensure you do not accidentally eat during the Fajr Azaan (call to prayer).
Ramadhan is expected to start on the 1st of March, 2025 and with that Muslims from all over the world will be observing the fast and performing their other religious duties.
Ramadhan is all about self-control and discipline. Muslims have to start and end their fasting with the rising and setting of the sun which is quite hard to keep
